Inkwell Inspirations Goes On-Line

- Today is a very special day for me. A couple months ago, Gina Welborn emailed and asked if I'd like to be part of a new inspirational blog. After praying and thinking about it, I realized I wanted to be part of this new venture.

It took a lot of planning, but today, Inkwell Inspirations goes online. The blog features 15 unpublished inspirational writers, but it's not your typical writing blog. Actually, it's not a writing blog at all. It's a blog where we get to express ourselves as Christian writers through our everyday lives. The blog will feature theme weeks and cover everything from recipes and travel to non-fiction books and poetry. Hopefully we'll have something that will interest you.

Oh yeah, and we'll give away lots of prizes. Daily prizes for anyone leaving a comment. As well as huge writer and reader grand prizes.

So come on and check us out at

another place for me to wander by every day. the blog sounds pretty neat. i hope all goes well there for you. with all the professional things you are doing, i'm sure you'll be getting your Call in the near future.

BTW, when are you heading to Denver? Are you going? That's my home territory - you'll love the mountains.

  2. Anita, I've just been to Inkwell Inspirations, and the page looks so warm and welcoming. A lot of thought has obviously gone into this new blog. I'll be back to read more of the bios and to make comments (in time to make the deadlines!).

Best wishes for your latest endeavour. You manage to do so much!

  3. Hey Deb, I'm sorry I didn't get back here sooner but I was trying to get those contest entries out by midnight tonight. And just made it with about 3 hrs to spare. LOL

I need to be in Denver in 12 days so will leave in about 10. I'm getting sooooooo excited. And I already love the mountains. I've toured the Canadian Rockies many times over the years. This will be a first for them Stateside, though.

Wish you could go but it's better that you take care of Guppy. Be good.

  4. Hey, Kel, because I'm a few days late, I read your note and then thought - Which post is she commenting on? Surely she hasn't changed her mind on the peek-a-boo shower curtain? We had a 14 yr old male friend of my son stay with us a couple days and we gave him the same warning. You peek at us and we post your pic on FB. Not a single problem. :)

Yes, the Inkwell Inspirations blog looks outstanding. Lisa Richardson, is doing an awesome job as webmistress. And Gina Welborn is just amazing. Can't figure out how she gets evrything done including coralling us Inkies. We picked alter egos for a fun theme coming up. At first I picked Queen Victoria as mine but I wanted people to think of my writing when they saw her. So I switched to Annie Oakley. LOL It's just as well... that was my CB handle back in the '70s.

Thanks for taking the time to visit. I know your scramblin' these days.

  5. Thank you Helena. I appreciate you saying that.

I have to admit, however, that I wouldn't get near as much done if it wasn't for the support of my hubby and family. That makes a huge difference in time available to write.
