Nerve Wracking!

This is starting to be a refrain, but I'm still waiting for results of the Touched by Love Contest.

Yes, they were supposed to have been posted by the 16th, but this isn't a perfect world, eh.

By the time I get the results, it's going to be so anti-climatic - especially if I'm not a finalist.

But I still have lots to do while I wait. I must:

- write Thursday's Prairie Chick blog post

- work on MMM revisions

- write a blog post for Cheryl St John :)

- critique chapter 10 for my CP

I think I'm missing something...

How's your memory... do you know that a banana a day will help your memory?...

    That stinks that the results are almost a week late and still no sign of them. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

    Thanks Capt'n. I guess the hold up is one judge not sending or being able to send their scores in. So to make if fair, they're holding them all back. Since it's the historical category that's the hold up, I would've had to wait either way. :(

These days, I'm busy working on the final draft of my historical romance, Emma's Outlaw , so I thought I'd give you some photos to check out. They are all of prairie wildlife in my area. Do you remember the afternoon JJ and I sat in the van on the empty dirt road with the suspicious looking dynamite box and waited for the Mountie? Well, these cowbirds kept us company. I had this photo in mind and just needed to wait for the cowbird to take flight. I waited. And, I waited. Then, I almost missed it because my arm was getting tired holding the camera in position and the bird decided to take off at the same moment I lowered the camera. About a quarter mile away on the same road but on a different day, I glanced at this familiar old bridge and saw a mule deer hiding underneath.
